Remember when we describe actions, situations and also people causing a particular feeling we use an -ing adjective. However if we talk about the person having that feeling we use -ed adjectives:
The film was really boring, I nearly fell asleep.
My friend Pete is a bit boring, he is always talking about work.
Sue is interested in Economy.
That book is quite interesting.
